Let us tell you the story behind Stories!

It‘s a conversation that never stops – in the best way.

It began in 2021 when two multicultural strangers met – one a designer and the other a language coach. We discovered a shared curiosity towards human stories and the journeys that connect us.

Over time, we realised that there was also something that made us different: we had complementary skills.

Beatriz’ ability to create an atmosphere that physically lowers your shoulders; Hedvig’s uncanny instinct for asking questions that unlock new insights.

Stories Across Borders grew out of something we craved…

A warm, open space for strangers to connect – without hidden agendas or expectations – and discuss topics that teach us about our shared humanity through our differences.

Two women standing close together smiling on a sidewalk at night in a small town. One is wearing a brown coat, white scarf, and glasses, the other is wearing a beanie, scarf, jacket, and backpack. There are buildings, parked cars, and a street sign in the background.

Together, we design experiences

Weaving together a unique blend of lightness and depth, flexibility and structure to leave our guests feeling a little bit more human:

A bit more seen in the process of grief. A bit more connected through our shared experience of loneliness. A bit more grounded through everyday expressions of love.

We believe in the power of conversation:The kind that opens your mind to different ways of thinking, leaving you pondering for months or even years later. The idea of planting seeds in the form of questions and allowing them to lie there, trusting that the answer can wait until later.

Have you ever had a conversation that changed the way you see yourself? Or changed the way you approach your daily life? Or changed the way you think? Or changed your belief about something?

Those are the kinds of conversations that we cultivate with Stories Across Borders.
